Bengaluru Rains!

The rain began again. It fell heavily, easily, with no meaning or intention but the fulfillment of its own nature, which was to fall and fall.

Loving Medium.com

I acknowledge that I wasn't fond of writing or reading since childhood. Eventually, I loved both reading and writing. Thanks to a few people in my life who became an inspiration to me.

I write my blogs and intend to write for a large magazine or a publisher in future.

I love to read articles on medium.com and have subscribed to the premium version of them. One thing I noticed on the medium that sets it apart from the rest is that the contents are of high quality and engaging for readers.

You have various topics to read. The AI on the platform recommends readers the articles of their interests.

Love ❤️ it

Make your own way!

Found this picture on Instagram. An excellent work of art that shows what to do when you don't find a way but have to reach your destination some way.

In this picture, you can see the goat made its way out of the puzzle by eating one part of the border knowingly or unknowingly. Sometimes you may reach your destination even without using your brain and doing what you're good at😊

Music - the stress buster

Bangalore traffic. Grrrr!!!!
It's exhausting by the time I reach home from the office. I commute 70 km onward and return combined every day. The dust and honking make it worst. Probably there is no solution to the honking problem in Bangalore.

Thanks to the music. Helps forget all those frustrating moments on the road. I love the piano and acoustic guitar music and this is what I play on the phone/TV after reaching home. Yiruma, what a legend he is. His piano music waves penetrate into the brain giving instant relaxation.

😊😊

Movie review - Article 15 & Super 30

These two movies that I watched this weekend were amazing. Bollywood has surely moved ahead and started making meaningful movies instead of the typical love stories. Of course, I love Bollywood movies with a love story as well.

Article 15 gives out a clear message about being united as a nation and shunt out the casteism and untouchability. The movie is also based on Badaun gang-rape allegations case. The Vicky Donor actor Ayushman Khurana, as usual, was great.

Movie Super 30, again is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar and his educational program Super 30. Hrithik has definitely done justice to his role. Very motivational movie and more such movies should be made which can have a positive effect on people's minds.

A lot of motivation this weekend. Time to implement some best practices in real life 😊

2 meals a day diet

Being a foodie, I couldn't even imagine about dieting.
"Khaate Peete Ghar Ka Ladka" hoon

The way I used to eat was alarming and its been 2 months I have realized, it is time to give my body only what it needs. Coupled with Yoga and Excercise, I have lost a considerable amount of weight and also feel lighter and energetic.

The craving for those mouthwatering sweets, chats and unhealthy foods has disappeared. Yes, it was initially very tough to drop this unhealthy habit, but slowly I have moved on towards a healthy one.

I used to watch videos and read articles on what is the best diet to follow. Initially searched for foods that help reduce weight, but The simpler the food, the healthier for your body.

Now trying something that I have never tried before. Yes, a "2 meals a day" diet. This article from Isha caught my attention. I am a huge fan of Sadhguru and what he says makes a lot of sense to me.
Just 2 days of following this type of diet have indeed made me feel more energetic and attentive.

Weekend trip to Ooty

Ooty is the easiest weekend getaway for Bangaloreans. It is a 6-7 hours drive from Bangalore located in the Nilgiri Hills, a part of the Western Ghats in western Tamil Nadu of Southern India.

I have visited Ooty many times in the past but this one was special. Explored some new places that I had never been to. One of them was the Fernhills Royal Palace. Do you remember the movie "Raaz"?

Ahh yes, I am talking about the horror movie. Many scenes of this movie were shot in Ooty and Fernhills Royal Palace. The Palace is 160 years old, owned by the Mysore Maharajas. now converted into a hotel. Some claim the Palace is haunted and even the Raaz film crew experienced a nightmare during shooting at the palace 17 years ago.

It was great to spend a few hours with office colleagues for a tea break. Next time I am gonna book a stay here πŸ‘€

Emerald Lake and surroundings were just stupendous. Though it was just 2 days trip, it was very relaxing as we didn't try visiting many places which could have been tiring. Though we were off-season and drizzling all the time, our spirits were high. Sharing a few awesome photos.

Green and Beautiful Colorado

This time I landed in Denver during the summer. Lush green everywhere. The drive from Denver Airport to Broomfield was amazing as I see the breathtaking grasslands all around and the Flatirons. As usual, never missed an opportunity to go around and here are few pics of the beautiful Broomfield Boulder and Denver Downtown.

Amazing Seattle

The best time to visit Seattle is late June to early September of the year. I landed up at the end of November. It was rainy all the time, so I couldn't explore all the places.

I like cold weather so dared to go out on a walk whenever I got time, before or after the day's work. I was staying in the Seattle Downtown, and significant landmarks were close to my hotel. Got a chance to visit, the Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Great Wheel.

Starbucks was founded in Seattle, in 1971. When I think about coffee, Starbucks is the name that comes up in my mind, and so visited most of their outlets, including their first store at Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle.

Other than Seattle Downtown, I also visited the beautiful University of Washington, Bellevue, snoqualmie pass and snoqualmie waterfalls.
